Originally a place of quiet reflection, this former church is now set to undergo a sensitive transformation into a series of private squash courts for a discerning client. Located in a heritage-rich setting, the building’s ecclesiastical architecture offers a dramatic canvas for reimagining spatial purpose while preserving its historic character.
Céleste Design has been appointed to lead the interior architecture and design development, with a focus on integrating high-performance athletic functionality into a space that retains its spiritual gravitas. The project will involve bespoke joinery detailing, acoustic considerations, and a carefully curated FF&E package to ensure the courts feel both elevated and immersive.
The designs presented are in-house Computer Generated Images (CGI).
